Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s principy evolučních algoritmů a oblastmi jejich aplikace. Implementovat některé evoluční algoritmy a aplikovat je zejména v oblasti umělých neuronových sítí. Prohloubit znalosti o umělých neuronových sítích a poskytnout posluchačům představu o možnostech jejich použití v oblasti umělé inteligence.
